I’m Dawn, a woman from the UK, who in late 2017 created Ostara Metal. It’s a place for reviews of albums, previews and reviews of shows and festivals, and interviews with bands.

I discovered metal at around the age of 13, and around 10 years ago I heard my first ever folk metal track. Since then my love and passion for all things folk, power and pagan metal has grown, and this little corner of the internet is my way of giving back to the community that has given me so much joy, happiness and friendship.
